Who can apply for the TAL Life Insurance?  Permanent Australian residents, Australian citizens, or New Zealand citizens that are residing permanently in Australia
with the age of 18 up to 74 are eligible to apply. And level premiums are available to applicants with age 59 or under. The life insurance will pay a lump sum benefit amount on your death, or when the diagnosis of a terminal illness, and also helping you to give financial protection to your family.

Other Requirements from TAL Life Insurance


When does the cover will start and end? Once your application is accepted, so it will guarantee to renew all your Life Insurance Cover until TAL Life Insurance Policy Anniversary before on your 100th birthday. It’s all as long as you have paid premiums and you have complied with the Duty of Disclosure. This guarantee applies regardless of any change in personal circumstances. When the full benefit amount is paid, your cover will end, and cover’s removed from your policy because the cover is cancelled for the non-payment of premiums or when it expires at age 99.  You can choose which cover that you’d like for your Life Insurance from: such as Adventure Sports Cover; Accident Cover; and Illness Cover.

If you select only an Accident Cover, then no other TAL Life Insurance Cover is provided for you if you are pass away from the Illness, or as a result from undertaking the Adventure Sports. So for example, there is no cover would be provided by you as a result of death due to cancer, suicide, other non-accidental cause or heart attack or infectious disease, as a result of undertaking scuba diving, recreational aviation, motor racing, or other of Adventure Sports.

You can also nominate to whom they will pay on your Life Insurance Benefit. When the event of your death is coming. Your nominee is called a Nominated Benefit Recipient. And any selection of Nominated Benefit Recipient is binding on us once when they have received all of your nomination and then send the written confirmation from the nomination back to you.

So, however, you can also ask the life insurance to change or even cancel an appointment anytime. If that appointment is made, and details of the Nominated Benefit Recipient will be shown to you in your Policy Schedule. If the change or cancellation is made, so a new Policy Schedule will be issued as confirmation. But if a Nominated Benefit Recipient is passed away before you, then the nomination becomes invalid. And if there are other a surviving people Nominated Benefit Recipients, so the benefits will be paid to them with the proportions in your nomination before, but with those surviving proportions are being scaled up to total 100%.

If there is no surviving of Nominated Benefit Recipient, then all the Life Insurance Benefit will be paid to your legal personal representative or your estate or a person that they’re permitted to pay under the TAL life insurance.
